I remember when my grandparents had a TV with teletext and we didn’t so I would have a lovely time playing with it when we visited. Going on it to quickly check something lasted past when we got the Internet for me as it was much faster than going upstairs, switching on the computer and dialling up the Internet.
I think I carried on using it fairly regularly until the late 00s. I know I tuned in for the final day in 2012, but probably hadn't used it much in the last few years.
